- Abstract:
For Schmidt-Leukel, this fractal approach grounds a theology of religions that affirms his understanding of different traditions as distinct, yet complementary ways of salvation, while also offering a renewed pathway into the study of religious experience. The central chapters of the monograph - chapters 3-8 - apply this fractal approach to different "themes" that Schmidt-Leukel finds in both the Buddhist and Christian tradition.
