- Abstract:
Without giving much thought to fossil preparation processes, the general public just views the finished product: the casts or conglomerations of fossil/cast that inspires awe and fascination of how these creatures lived, breathed and, of course for the kiddos, how they fought. Reading through this volume, it is amazing to see the hours and hours spent by Caitlin Donahue Wylie in the fossil preparation trenches. The relationship between the technicians and the staff they manage is a subset to the finished fossil prepared for science sake. [Extracted from the article]
