Tom Ormay (1934–2022).

Tom was born Antal Ormai 23 February 1934 to a chemist father, at whose insistence he studied mechanical engineering before eventually switching to journalism. I last saw Tom on a visit to Budapest with my daughter Matilda in February 2020.
