    • Abstract:
The article offers nutrition and health information about grain products. It associates diets high in whole grains to lower risk of heart disease, diabetes and certain cancers, and to a healthy gut microbiome. It cautions against the potential of refined grains to lead to higher blood sugar and it differentiates white grain, wheat, multigrain, whole wheat, whole grain and whole wheat flour and white whole wheat.
