      This article probes into the trend of outsourcing high technology jobs from the U.S. Newly released semiconductor data from iSuppli Corp. reveals a more complex picture of Americans employed in microchip design and manufacturing jobs. The outsourcing trend presents both an upside and downside. But several analysts and economists have pointed out that offshoring is no longer a trend, Rather, it is part of a vast change in industry productivity and how industry competes globally.
