      Harr said no investor money was used to pay for the event, which was instead financed by two sponsors: a foundation and an technology company. Following their initial encounter, Harr said he and Ashkar decided to raise a fund inspired by the 2015 encyclical letter of Pope Francis, called Laudato Si, that stated combating climate change and protecting the environment as religious duties.
