      El propósito del presente artículo es analizar la novela gráfica como género emergente y de creciente importancia en el panorama literario internacional, haciendo especial énfasis en la novela gráfica árabe y en su papel como herramienta de acercamiento entre las realidades del Mundo Árabe y los lectores de todo el mundo. Con este fin, se repasa brevemente la trayectoria del género y se analizan sus particularidades y características principales. A continuación, se presenta y analiza la situación actual del género, introduciendo al mismo tiempo a algunos de sus autores más destacados y sus obras.       The purpose of this article is to analyze the graphic novel as an emerging genre and of growing importance in the international literary scene, with special emphasis on the Arabic graphic novel and its role as a tool for bringing the realities of the Arab World closer together and readers from all over the world. the world. To this end, the trajectory of the genre is briefly reviewed, and its particularities and main characteristics are analyzed. The current situation of the genre is presented and analyzed below, while introducing some of its most prominent authors and their works.
