This case highlights that an isolated tumour can be an initial manifestation of systemic cryptococcosis in a kidney transplant patient. Compared with asymptomatic pulmonary cryptococcosis, secondary cutaneous cryptococcosis may be the first clinical manifestation of disseminated infection but it can be difficult to diagnose clinically.
