      The article reports on the launch of major genetic study in autism by Children's Hospital Boston, Massachusetts. The hospital has begun enrolling patients as part of a new multidisciplinary study of autism that will attempt to isolate its genetic and biochemical causes. It reports that 90% of the autism cases are believed to have a genetic factor, and involvement of multiple genes is also expected. Results of the study on autism are expected in one or two years. The components and processes of the study is also reported in the article.
