- Abstract:
The article presents a 2022 study on the possible change in the associations between deaths from mesothelioma and asbestosis and historical asbestos consumption since 2007. Results show that the ecological associations continue to hold even when data were expanded to more countries, and that mortality rates increased exponentially relative to asbestos consumption. Also noted is the recommendation to eliminate the latter to eliminate asbestos-related diseases (ARD).
