The role of local immune response support in HPV protection. (English)
    • Abstract:
The human immune system plays a key role in the clearance of HPV-infection, as the innate immune response is the first line of defense against the virus. If it manages to bypass the immune system, the virus might form a persisting infection, facilitating the emergence of high-grade lesions and the carcinoma of the cervix. Hence, local stimulation of innate immunity could be a promising strategy in the protection against HPV. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
    • Abstract:
A humán immunrendszer kulcsszerepet játszik a méhnyakrákot okozó HPV-infekció clearance-ében. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
