      The article analyzes the role of school nurses in the COVID-19 vaccination of children and young people in the United Kingdom (UK). An overview of clinical trials of COVID-19 vaccines in younger children including by pharmaceutical firms Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca is provided. It suggests the need to provide extra support and training for school nurses outside of education settings and discusses the clinical vulnerability of children and adolescents and the uneven distribution of vaccines.
