      Following the successful completion ofinitial training, staff were assigned a peer coach(an advanced STARR user who completedcoach-specific training) to whom they submittedmonthly audiotapes of skill use for feedbackand were required to attend one booster sessionevery other month. The goal of the currentstudy was to examine the attitudes andexperiences of federal probation officerstrained in STARR, including PO attitudesand experience with STARR, STARR training,coaching, and perceptions of agencysupport.
