      In 2021, poultry production in France was slightly reduced compared to the previous year. The gross domestic production of poultry meat amounted to approximately 1.70 million tons, which corresponds to a decrease of 1.9 percent. However, the trade of poultry meat developed significantly faster, with an increase in imports by 16.4 percent and exports by 11.2 percent.
