The aim of this study is to show the matrix of Chinese territorial coloniality on the territory today called Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR). State "development" programs in the territory will be analyzed, as well as their effects on the management forms of the indigenous populations, with special interest in the strategies of colonial appropriation and despoil of the natural and human environment of the Uyghur people. This has been the scenario for controlled migration processes and military settlement colonies by the State, with the aim of establishing control and appropriation over its natural, geographical and human resources. Objetivo de este estudio es el de evidenciar la matriz de colonialidad territorial de China sobre el territorio que hoy en día se denomina Región Autónoma Uigur de Xinjiang (XUAR). Se analizarán los programas de "desarrollo" estatal en el territorio, y sus efectos en las formas de manejo de las poblaciones autóctonas, con especial interés en las estrategias de apropiación colonial y expolio del medio natural y humano del pueblo uigur. Éste ha sido escenario de procesos de migraciones controladas y colonias militares de asentamiento por el Estado, para establecer un control y apropiación sobre sus recursos naturales, geográficos y humanos.
