    • Abstract:
The article presents information about an animation studio Hatchling Studios. The company making its bigscreen animated debut is hoping to be the next Pixar. "We're making a movie titled "Flare," says Marc Dole, CEO and producer of Hatchling Studios. "It's about a baby dragon that has discovered abandoned in suburbia and taken in as a family pet." The company's foray into big-time animation started last year. "In our spare time, we decided to do some projects for ourselves." The result was a one-minute trailer for "Flare." "We were so exited about it, we created a business plan and searched for investors to make this work," Dole says. "We had to go out to Los Angeles, where we showed the trailer to someone that invests in movies. He accepted without even seeing our business plan." Currently, the company has 15 employees, but expects to hire an additional 85 film industry veterans to work on "Flare."
