      The article examines the significance of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) to the China-Africa cooperation in the 21st century. The legal basis for the AfCFTA is the Agreement Establishing the African Continental Free Trade Area. Among the features of AfCFTA are the signing of an electronic commerce protocol and aim to facilitate full African integration. The infrastructure cooperation projects between the countries are expected to benefit from AfCFTA.
