- Alternate Title: NEGATIVE ASPECTS OF ONLINE EDUCATION DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC. (English)
- Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic has forced most educational institutions in Slovakia to switch to online learning. This radical change, for which not everyone was prepared, cause several negative aspects. The difficulty of teaching and learning, the cooperation with students and their activity in class, the time needed to prepare for class, the degree of cheating and the overall psychological level of well-being of students; all of it has changed. The mentioned aspects and the significance of their change are examined in a questionnaire survey with a sample of 133 Mathematics teachers and their 1853 students, who perceive these aspects before and after the beginning of the pandemic in Slovakia (March 2020). Respondents' answers are tested using statistical methods Wilcoxon signed-rank test, regression analysis (OLS model) and Student's t-test. The most important findings include a statistically significant increase in the rate of cheating, teaching and learning difficulty and time commitment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
- Abstract: Pandémia ochorenia COVID-19 spôsobila na majorite vzdelávacích inštitúcií na Slovensku nútený prechod na online dištančnú formu výučby. Táto radikálna zmena, na ktorú nie všetci boli pripravení, priniesla so sebou množstvo negatívnych aspektov. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
