      This paper analyses the indoctrination of Spanish women carried out by the Sección Femenina of FET-JONS. Apart from stipulating accepted behaviour, Falangists tried to educated post-war women in a pre-established emotional style. My purpose is to explore how this organization used its propaganda instruments to spread a set of rules concerning sentiment while censoring all cultural expressions (including cinema and literature) that might threaten its hegemony on emotional discourse. By so doing, I will show the strength of the emotional norms that the SF forced upon women, while exploring the potential emotional suffering that accompanied this project. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

      Este artículo analiza la tarea adoctrinadora que la Sección Femenina de FET-JONS ejerció sobre las españolas partiendo de la hipótesis de que, más allá de prescribir un tipo de conducta, las falangistas trataron de educar a las mujeres de la posguerra en un estilo emocional preestablecido. Mi propósito es explorar cómo la organización empleó sus instrumentos propagandísticos para difundir sus consignas sobre afectividad y para censurar todas aquellas creaciones culturales (incluidas el cine y la literatura) que pudieran amenazar la hegemonía de su discurso emotivo. Con ello, trataré de mostrar la potencia de la normativización afectiva que la Sección Femenina impuso a estas mujeres, así como el posible sufrimiento emocional que de ello se derivó.
