    • Abstract:
The article focuses on the New Hampshire (NH) Film Office which has been without a fulltime director for more than a year, but the state is hoping a switch in oversight may help attract more projects from Tinsel Town. In July 2004, after approval from the Legislature, the Film Office was moved from the Department of Travel and Tourism Development to the auspices of the Department of Cultural Resources. Commissioner Van McLeod hopes to hire a new full-time director for the office by the of 2005. To reinvent the Film Office, McLeod invited NH filmmakers to a roundtable to find out what the state could do to lure film productions to NH.
