    • Abstract:
The article presents a case report of female twins in which twin B developed a hemodynamically significant patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) at 48 hours, for which she received one course of indomethacin. Topics discussed include increasing dosages of dopamine and epinephrine in an effort to stabilize blood pressure; use of peripheral arterial catheter insertion despite the risk of both short- and long-term complications; and circulation in the hand.
