- Abstract: In this study we will deal with the evolution of the models of censorship files of children's and youth literature in Spain and Portugal through the analysis of the comments made by the censors in both countries, to identify the similarities and differences between them. In order to do so, several Spanish and Portuguese reports have been selected from the different phases of both Regimes (1938-1941; 1941-1945; 1945-1951 and 1951-1975). The analysis of those documents allows a better understanding of the evolution of this historical fact, to identify the formal differences between Spain and Portugal, the possible causes of approval or refusal of the works, as well as the most ferocious censor items.
