      This paper analizes the transformation of the press, particularly the evolution of its structure and discourse, during the Spanish War (1936-1939). It studies in particular the example of the anti-fascist press in Biscay, to show the profound changes that the 1936 putsch caused (change of personnel, bankruptcy, propaganda, censorship).
