- Abstract:
Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) is a signatory to the Council of Europe (CoE) Convention on Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse, also known as the Lanzarote Convention, and has committed itself to undertake legislative and other necessary measures in order to ensure adequate legal, institutional and organizational framework for prevention of sexual violence and exploitation of children and minors. The purpose of this paper is to determine, through positive-legal and comparative-legal methods, whether, and to what extent, is the criminal legislation of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (F BiH) harmonized with the Lanzarote Convention. Bearing in mind that a new Criminal Code was adopted in the Republika Srpska (RS) in 2017, which brought significant changes in the field of incriminations related to the Lanzarote Convention, a review of the relevant provisions of the criminal legislation of RS is also given. Due to the nature of this paper, the subject of the analysis are the provisions of the Lanzarote Convention related to the substantive law. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
- Abstract:
[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
