The article reports the result of a randomized clinical trial with sham control to 197 men 50 years or older with International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS) or 13 or greater which reveals that water vapor thermal therapy (Rezum system) showed durable efficacy at 5 years with no sexual dysfunction in patients with lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) due to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
