      A case study is presented in which the authors discuss allegations concerning alleged hysterectomies, or sterilization, performed upon immigrant women in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at the Irwin County, Georgia, Detention Center (ICDC). The authors provide recommendations concerning medical ethics within immigration policy for the administration of U.S. president Joe Biden.
