    • Abstract:
The article examines the necessity of wearing face masks post COVID-19. According to Raina MacIntyre of the University of New South Wales, masks are safe, cheap and effective to help reduce the spread of respiratory disease. A November 2020 research review co-authored by Doctor John Conly of the University of Calgary indicate that wearing masks did not make a significant difference in protecting the wearer from getting flu-like illnesses. The disadvantages of masking are also cited.
