In the article, the author discusses the study on the transmission of Cryptosporidium species in children in sub-Saharan Africa that assessed the possibility that Cryptosporidium infection is transmitted from animals. The species cause the disease called Cryptosporidiosis. Based on the results, asymptomatic children under five years old played a major role in the transmission of the disease.
