The article presents a case of a 48-year-old woman who was rushed to the emergency department with a 6-month history of productive cough associated with vomiting, nausea, and weight loss to discuss the diagnosis of mammomonogamosis or syngamosis, which is an uncommon cause of chronic cough. Also cited are her treatment of albendazole and the parasitic nematodes from the genus Mammonogamus as the cause of syngamosis.
