NEW SERVICE RECRUITS EDUCATORS FOR OVERSEAS.

The article focuses on Overseas Educational Service, a new organization recently formed under the joint sponsorship of the National Academy of Sciences, the American Council on Education, and Education and World Affairs. Although Overseas Educational Service plans to do some recruiting of academic personnel on its own, it will supplement the efforts of other agencies, both public and privates that are engaged in recruiting American personnel for the developing areas. John Scott Everton, former U.S. ambassador to Burma, is executive director of the new organization.
