      The article discusses the importance of teaching different sexualities in school sex education without the heterosexual norm as the starting point. Topics covered include the predominant desexualization of people with intellectual disabilities (ID), the identification as having a disability by more than one-third of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ), and the conditions of ableism and dysphoria. Also noted are health and social services for LGBTQs with disabilities.
