The article reports on retail sales at Halloween. Halloween is now the second-biggest holiday for retail sales. Here is a grab bag of statistics for Halloween 2003--total sales in the two weeks before the big night, and the jump in the final week. In the week before Halloween, sales jumped 15%. Costume sales and rentals were up 13% in the week before.
