- Abstract: Considering the common practice between scientific education and environmental education and the treatment of them alone, our eyes turn to the approaches that can be established between them in school. Thus, our objective was to understand the approximations built between science education and environmental education in teaching practice. For that, we resort to exploratory research and field research. Exploratory research allowed us to locate the teacher and the school field of investigation. In the field, we analyzed three projects developed and developed by the teacher, observed the teaching practice during the realization of one of the projects and interviewed the same and five of her students. The data were submitted to content analysis. The study demonstrated that science education and environmental education are expressed through combinations of knowledge and by the complementarity of scientific and environmental knowledge and content. The developed projects proved to be successful in creating bridges, since the transition between these dimensions jointly crossed the barriers and problems of an isolated teaching, of an isolated practice. - Abstract: Visto o distanciamento comumente praticado entre educação científica e educação ambiental e o tratamento isolado delas, nossos olhares se voltam às aproximações que podem ser estabelecidas entre elas na escola. Dessa forma, nosso objetivo consistiu em compreender as aproximações construídas entre educação científica e educação ambiental na prática docente. Para tanto, recorremos à pesquisa exploratória e à pesquisa de campo. A pesquisa exploratória permitiu-nos localizar a professora e a escola campo de investigação. Já no campo, analisamos três projetos elaborados e desenvolvidos pela professora, observamos a prática docente durante a realização de um dos projetos e entrevistamos a mesma e cinco de seus estudantes. Os dados foram submetidos à análise de conteúdo. O estudo demonstrou que educação científica e educação ambiental se expressam por meio de combinações de saberes e pela complementaridade dos conhecimentos e conteúdos científicos e ambientais. Os projetos desenvolvidos se mostraram exitosos na criação de pontes, uma vez que o transitar entre essas dimensões transpôs conjuntamente as barreiras e as problemáticas de um ensino isolado, de uma prática ilhada.
