- Abstract:
Male infertility is a common condition: indeed, the male partner is either the only or a contributing factor in almost 50% of cases of couple infertility. When talking to an infertile patient, I now start by saying that I am on their same boat: as a result, the patient is often more open and likely to disclose his own feelings and fears, and the patient-physician relationship is improved. 6 Hanna E, Gough B. The social construction of male infertility: a qualitative questionnaire study of men with a male factor infertility diagnosis. [Extracted from the article]
