LAMINADOS CERÂMICOS UTILIZANDO A TÉCNICA INDIRETA: REVISÃO DE LITERATURA.

CERAMIC LAMINATES USING THE INDIRECT TECHNIQUE: LITERATURE REVIEW.

The profile of patients seeking dental care due to aesthetics has increased considerably in this scenario, ceramics have rapidly evolved in the scientific field in order to improve their physical and mechanical properties and meet the aesthetic needs that are increasingly demanded by society. The main objective of this work is to analyze the protocol of ceramic laminates using the indirect technique. The electronic search was performed using the descriptors in Google Academic, PubMed, SciELO databases, performed in a single consultation in May 2020. At the end of the electronic search, 17 articles were selected for literature review based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Thus, we can conclude that despite the divergence among authors, the manufacture of indirect porcelain facets present good functional and aesthetic results, provided that there is the correct indication, selection of the material as well as the correct execution of the procedure. O perfil dos pacientes que procuram atendimento odontológico devido à estética tem aumentado consideravelmente, neste cenário, as cerâmicas evoluíram rapidamente no campo científico, a fim de melhorar suas propriedades físicas e mecânicas e atender às necessidades estéticas que são cada vez mais exigidas pela sociedade. O principal objetivo deste trabalho é analisar o protocolo dos laminados cerâmicos utilizando a técnica indireta. Foi realizada a busca eletrônica utilizando os descritores nas bases de dados Google Acadêmico, PubMed, SciELO, realizado em consulta única em maio de 2020. Ao final da busca eletrônica foram selecionados 17 artigos para a revisão de literatura por base dos critérios de inclusão e exclusão. Podendo-se assim concluir que apesar da divergência entre autores a confecção das facetas indiretas em porcelana apresentam bons resultados funcionais e estéticos, desde que haja a correta indicação, seleção do material assim como a correta execução do procedimento.
