This article focuses on blueprints for residential construction. Blueprints for residential construction, or working drawings, as they are often called in the industry, are copyrighted intellectual property, protected under the terms of U.S. Copyright Law and, therefore, cannot be copied legally for use in building. This article presents some guidelines to help one obtain the right number of copies for one's chosen blueprint design. One should purchase enough copies of the blueprints to satisfy building requirements.
