      After the unsuccessful coup attempt that was led in August 1932 in Seville by the Africanist general Sanjurjo, the Azaña government ordered the arrest of the insurgents and the suspension of publications sympathetic to monarchical and Catholic movements. A good part of these were Integrist and Carlists. Aside from some support in Seville, Carlists had little to do with this attempt. The objective is to analyse commentary after the suppression of the press and the dissemination of news about the «martyrs» deported to Villa Cisneros. The analysis will be deepened by examining newspapers, archival sources and publications of the era. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

      Tras la fracasada intentona golpista protagonizada por el general africanista Sanjurjo en agosto de 1932 en Sevilla, el gobierno Azaña ordenó tanto la detención de los insurrectos como la suspensión de más de un centenar de publicaciones simpatizantes de sesgo monárquico y católico --siendo buena parte de ellas carlo-integristas--. A sabiendas de la escasa vinculación del carlismo con aquella intentona, salvo el seguimiento en Sevilla, el propósito del artículo pasa por analizar los comentarios posteriores a la supresión periodística y el tratamiento informativo de los «mártires» deportados a Villa Cisneros. Con este fin se profundizará en una combinación de fuentes hemerográficas, archivísticas y bibliografía coetánea. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
