The article presents information on journalism training. For the past two years 14 new journalism teachers each summer have been taught how to become good teachers of writing, reporting and editing through the Gannett Teaching Fellowship Program held for two weeks at the School of Journalism at Indiana University. The teachers have ranged in age from the mid 20s to the late 50s with media experience varying from a few years to more than 30 in the field as nationally known reporters and editors. The schools they represent have included two-person programs under English departments, large and well-equipped separate schools at major universities and nearly everything in between.
