- Abstract:
The walking truck (cybernetic walking machine) was an experimental quadruped robot made by General Electric in 1968. The four-legged walking machine stood three metres tall, and had enough power to push 450 kilograms across a concrete floor. The walking truck was one of the first to use force feedback to give the driver a feel of what was happening. [Extracted from the article]
