COVID-19 gydymui ir profilaktikai skiriami vaistiniai preparatai.

MEDICINAL PRODUCTS USED FOR THE TREATMENT AND PROPHYLAXIS OF COVID-19.

Currently, the most relevant public and personal health problem is the new coronavirus-induced COV1D-19 disease. In view of the pandemic emergency situation, the rapid spread of the infection, the severe condition of some patients, and the high mortality rate, there is an urgent need to treat patients with both symptomatic measures and specific agents. However, to date, no medicinal products have been authorized specifically for the treatment of COVID-19. New information on the efficacy of certain medicines appears almost daily yet it is often contradictory, and reliable data from large-scale clinical trials are still lacking. The article summarizes the known data on the efficacy and safety of antiviral agents and medicines used to control immune responses, precautions and possible adverse effects on the nervous system, which could be beneficial to the physicians inclinical practice. Data on newly initiated clinical trials on medicinal products for the treatment and prevention of COV1D-19 are also provided. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Šiuo metu aktualiausia visuomenės ir asmens sveikatos priežiūros problema yra COVID- 19pandemija. Atsižvelgiant į ekstremalią padėtį šiomis sąlygomis, greitą infekcijos plitimą, sunkią kai kurių pacientų būklę ir didelį mirtingumo dažnį, būtina skubiai pradėti pacientų gydymą, skiriant tiek simptomines priemones, tiek ir specifiškai veikiančius preparatus. Tačiau iki šiol nėra registruota nė vieno COVID-19 gydyti skirto specifinio vaisto. Beveik kasdien pasirodo naujos informacijos apie tam tikrų preparatų veiksmingumo duomenis, tačiau neretai jie yra prieštaringi, vis dar trūksta patikimų plačios apimties klinikinių tyrimų duomenų. Straipsnyje pateikiami apibendrinti duomenys apie priešvirusinių ir žmogaus imuninės sistemos atsaką veikiančių vaistų veiksmingumą ir saugumą, atsargumo priemones ir galimą nepageidaujamą poveikį nervų sistemai, kurie galėtų būti naudingi gydytojui praktikui. Taip pat nurodyta informacija apie pradėtus naujus klinikinius COVID-19 gydymui ir profilaktikai skirtų vaistinių preparatų tyrimus. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
