An introduction to the journal is presented that focuses on issues about the first decade of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), including ACA's impacts, performance, and evolution, how the ACA has fared compared to original expectations, and lessons from the law's implementation and experiences with Medicaid expansion, health insurance marketplaces, choice, and the courts.
