The article discusses the term invincible ignorance which refers to a deliberate refusal to consider facts or other evidence that might change one's mind. Topics covered include the advantages to invincible ignorance, the moral connection between knowledge and culpability, and the three types of invincible ignorance which include the ordinary invisibility of the familiar, ideologically invincible ignorance, and imposed ignorance.
