    • Abstract:
Banks leading the midsize ranking this year cannot afford to get too comfortable. Nobody knows yet how deeply the coronavirus pandemic will scar the nation's economy, but what's certain is the environment is changing for banks, including those with assets between $2 billion and $10 billion. Excludes industrial banks, nondepository trusts, foreign-owned banks and bankers' banks, as well as institutions with credit cards to total loans of more than 25%, loans to total assets of less than 20%, or loans to total deposits of less than 20%.
