- Abstract:
The article informs that according to a study by Leow et al., performing chemical synthesis with renewable electricity can reduce carbon emissions. It mentions that it proposed an electrochemical route to ethylene oxide and propylene oxide that promises cleaner, more efficient, and more selective processing. It also mentions that ethylene and propylene were epoxidized electrochemically to ethylene oxide and propylene oxide.
