Social innovations as determinants of the development of local communities. (English)

Changes taking place in society and the economy imply the emergence of new methods of problem solving and development. Social innovation has become the driving force. This chapter presents them as determinants of the development of participatory society, which exists thanks to the participation of four actors. The paper presents a literature review, along with examples of social innovations implemented in Poland and Europe. The conclusions provide confirmation arguments that social innovations can be determinants of the development of local communities; they counteract social exclusion and reduce inequalities. Zmiany zachodzące w społeczeństwie oraz gospodarce implikują powstawanie nowych metod rozwiązywania problemów oraz rozwoju. Siłą napędową stały się innowacje społeczne. W niniejszym rozdziale przedstawiono je jako determinanty rozwoju społeczeństwa partycypacyjnego, które istnieje dzięki udziałowi czterech aktorów. Dokonano przeglądu literatury oraz przykładów innowacji społecznych wdrażanych w Polsce i Europie. Poczynione rozważania pozwoliły na stwierdzenie, że innowacje społeczne mogą być determinantami rozwoju społeczności lokalnych, przeciwdziałają wykluczeniu społecznemu i niwelują nierówności.
