- Abstract: The article reports that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is evaluating and proposing changes to meat and poultry labels. Topics discussed include views of FSIS Administrator Carmen Rottenberg on dual-labeling regulations, FSIS proposing to amend labeling regulations to remove duplicative net weight and net content requirements for packages; and the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
