      The article presents the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). Topics include Christians having a primary mission like to reveal and to communicate the love of God to all; an integral element of carrying out the mission being the council called for a restoration of the catechumenate which being the complicated version of adult religious education; and reshaping community roles which radically redefines the meaning of catechesis.
