Validity study of the Latvian version of the Burnout clinical subtypes questionnaire (BSCQ-12). (English)

The aim of the study was to assess the reliability, factorial and convergent validity of the Latvian version of the Burnout Clinical Subtype Questionnaire short form (BSCQ-12). The sample was composed of 317 participants (52,7% women) with average age 34,21 years. Respondents represented four different employment groups: military personnel (N = 105), nurses (N = 50), marketing specialists (N = 52) and hotel specialists (N = 110). The study used these tools: Burnout Clinical Subtype Questionnaire (BCSQ-36) and the short version of it (BCSQ-12) (Montero-Marín & García-Campayo, 2010; Montero-Marín et al., 2011b), The Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey, MBI-GS (Maslach et al., 1986) and Utrecht Work Engagement Scale, UWES-9 (Schaufeli & Bakker, 2003). The results indicate that the Latvian version of the BSCQ- 12 has high internal consistency and acceptable stability over time. The research has validated survey factorial validity and convergent validity with respect to the Maslach burnout dimensions. BSCQ-12 can be used for burnout screening in Latvia. Pētījuma mērķis bija pārbaudīt latviešu valodā adaptētās Izdegšanas klīnisko apakštipu aptaujas īsās versijas (BSCQ-12) ticamību, faktoriālo un konverģento validitāti. Pētījumā piedalījās 317 respondenti (52,7% sieviešu) ar vidējo vecumu 34,21 gads. Dalībnieki pārstāvēja četras nodarbinātības grupas: militārpersonas (N = 105), medicīnas māsas (N = 50), mārketinga speciālistus (N = 52) un viesnīcu speciālistus (N = 110). Pētījumā tika izmantotas Izdegšanas klīnisko apakštipu aptauja (BCSQ-36) un tās īsā versija (BCSQ-12) (Burnout Clinical Subtype Questionnaire, Montero-Marín & García-Campayo, 2010; Montero-Marín et al., 2011b), Maslakas izdegšanas vispārīgā aptauja (The Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey, MBI-GS, Maslach et al., 1986) un Utrehtas aptauja iesaistei darbā (Utrecht Work Engagement Scale, UWES- 9, Schaufeli & Bakker, 2003). Iegūtie rezultāti norāda, ka BSCQ-12 latviešu valodas variantam ir augsta iekšējā saskaņotība un pieņemama stabilitāte laikā. Aptaujai ir apstiprināta faktoriālā validitāte un konverģentā validitāte attiecībā pret Maslakas izdegšanas dimensijām. Aptauja ir izmantojama izdegšanas apakštipu skrīninga vajadzībām Latvijā.
