    • Abstract:
This article presents a commentary note on an article, previously published, revealing organization as an important determinant of occupational health and suggesting the need for a comprehensive approach to occupational health. The article provides some management standards which specify a collaborative process of organisational analysis and change that aims to ensure that a workplace has non-toxic levels of six occupational stressor, such as, demands, control, support, relationships at work, roles, and change. This organisational-directed approach to occupational health currently enjoys a great deal of support amongst policy makers, European governments, and occupational health psychologists.
