    • Abstract:
It is the journal that accepted my very first paper, on Busulfan in children, and it has always been a journal that somehow manages to publish the most original and creative papers of all clinical pharmacology journals out there. I did not know Jim Ritter, but I did know Adam, and surely, if BJCP and the BPS had appointed him as EiC, then this journal must not only be creative, original, and of the highest quality but also modern and continuously rejuvenating itself while at the same time staying loyal to its principles. One of the key aspects of these newer subjects is that they were all initiated by either authors or editorial board members, and at BJCP, we believe that this is the way it should be: "BJCP, a journal of the people, by the people, for the people.".
